Hello, my name is Virginia Vakaloloma, and I am the podiatrist behind Vaka Mobile Foot Specialist.

I qualified as a podiatrist because I believe everyone deserves to move through life comfortably, free from foot pain and worry. I know first-hand how hard it can be when your feet hurt — it affects everything you do, and travelling to clinics can feel impossible when you are unwell, recovering in hospital, older, or have trouble getting around.

That is why I started my mobile service: to bring trusted, professional care right to you — whether you are in your own home, living in a care home, or staying in hospital. I am fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and follow all the latest standards for safe, gentle treatment.

For me, this work is more than a job — it is about treating every person with dignity, listening well, and caring for you as a whole person, not just your feet. I take time to explain everything clearly, work at a pace that feels right for you, and make sure you leave feeling heard, cared for, and more comfortable.

I live and work right here in Midlothian, and I am proud to serve my local community, private homes, care homes, and hospital patients across the area.

I serve Midlothian, Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Mayfield, Newtongrange, Rosewell, Penicuik, and Edinburgh. Flexible appointment times are available to suit you and your family.
